AUXERRINE IS BRENT CHESANEK.
BRENT CHESANEK is an artist working at the boundaries of narrative, documentary, and experimental cinematic forms. He directs and produces his own films while working within multiple disciplines of film & broadcast post-production and design.
Chesanek has screened his films at FIDMarseille, CPH:DOX, RIDM (Montréal), Seattle IFF, DOXA (Vancouver), Big Sky DFF (Montana), FIDBA (Buenos Aires), Singapore IFF, Denver IFF, NovosCinemas (Galicia), IndieMemphis, Visions.MTL, Rencontres Internationales (Paris), Art Basel Miami Beach, and more. He has pitched work to the industry programs at Ji.Hlava New Visions Forum (Czech Republic) and Champs-Élysées US-In-Progress (France).
He has worked as director or creative director on spots for Fujifilm, Haitian Initiative, and Ampersand Ampersand Co. For broadcast, he has freelanced as an editor, designer, and senior animator with Showtime Networks, Loyalkaspar, Nickelodeon, Lifetime, DoubleWide Media, and more. He has designed titles and key-art for feature films appearing at most major festivals and distribution outlets.
Chesanek graduated from the University of Florida, studying broadcast journalism and English.
